Tony Palmer has worked as a book designer at various publishers since 1986 and has won design awards for his work. One day a week Tony also teaches typography to 2nd year graphic design students at Victoria University.

He started writing Break of Day in 2004 when he realised this was a story that needed to be told. This is his first novel.
